Duratuff Vinyl Cladding Used in Cabin Park Upgrade

Duratuff Select Vinyl House cladding was selected to be installed as a maintenance free exterior to an extra 58 cabins at the Barney Beach Caravan Park in Gladstone to relieve pressure on the districts’ accommodation shortage.
Barney Beach Caravan Park is a waterfront property situated at Gladstone’s historic Barney Point Beach. The park was Gladstone’s first, and is today one of Queensland’s oldest parks still owned and operated by the original owners, the Corones Family.
The “boutique-style” park is steeped in charm and history offering guests superior service and immaculate facilities in a parkland setting. Located 80 metres from a swimming and fishing beach and five minutes to the city centre, Barney Beach Caravan Park offers caravan and camping sites and has the largest range of award winning value accommodation in the Gladstone Region.
With Austech’s Duratuff Select Vinyl Cladding already standing the test of time in the park from previous projects the decision was an easy one for the cladding option when an expansion of the park was undertaken resulting in 58 cabins being added.
Prestige Exteriors Pty Ltd supplied and installed the vinyl cladding using their distribution network to start installation of wall cladding within 1 week from getting the Colour Specification (Cypress) at a rate of 4 cabins per week over a 15 week period.

Around 3,400m2 of Duratuff Cypress was used in Total. Our vinyl cladding is nationally distributed and is widely used in the Caravan Park industry for premium accommodation.

Available in
9 standard & 5 premium colours and without the need for future painting or sealing Duratuff is perfect for all environments.
